Diagnodent -Laser for early detection of cavities.
Diagnodent allows us to find cavities on the chewing surfaces of back teeth, even when they just beginning, and would have been missed by previous detection methods. This small, portable laser unit alerts us with an audible signal and a numerical readout depending on the extent of cavity. We can stop cavities in their infancy, whereas in the past they would have to be significantly bigger before we could find and treat them. Just like other areas of medicine and dentistry, early detection and treatment is of immeasurable value in preserving your health. Back

Digital Radiography-Computer-generated images with a fraction of the radiation of traditional X-rays
Intraoral X-rays are the most common radiographs made. If you're like most people who visit the dentist, you've had many sets of intraoral radiographs in your life and you'll likely have many more. Because they give a high level of detail, these are the X-rays that allow us to find caries, look at the tooth roots, check the health of the bony area surrounding the tooth, see the status of developing teeth, and otherwise monitor good tooth health. Computer-generated images, called digital radiography reduces radiation by as much as 90 percent. Back

Diode Laser-For Treatment of Gum Disease
Laser gum treatment is a highly effective new innovative procedure for periodontal (gum) disease. After verifying that you are a candidate, your next experiences are generally quite comfortable. The area is anesthetized with a local anesthetic.
A. Periodontal probe indicates extent of pocket depth.
B. Laser light kills bacteria and diseased tissue.
C. Next a combination of ultrasonic and hand scalers and irrigation are used to cleanse the root surface of teeth. D. Once verified clean, the laser is used once again to sterilize the pocket and cause a coagulum to form. It is this coagulum that heals and becomes a new attachment from the bone to the tooth.
E. Then the gum tissues are compressed with pressure, against the tooth and a stable fibrin clot forms at the gingival crest.
F. Bite trauma is adjusted to redirect untoward forces along the long axis of the tooth.
G. New attachment is regenerated, new bone and new ligament is formed and healing occurs. Back

K-7 Evaluation System-To aid in diagnosis and treatment of TMD We are able to conduct a series of tests using non-invasive computerized electronic instrumentation. These tests include, Electromyography (EMG) that detects electric impulses originating in muscles. It will provide precise information about resting muscle status as well as their efficiency when biting. It also allows for Sonography, to precisely record jaw sound as you open and close your mouth. Another feature is the Computerized Jaw Tracking which records the position and movements of the jaw.
